The book PTSD and Art Therapy was released to critical acclaim in 2021 to answer the question, “How does art and creativity offer healing for people who have experienced trauma?” Everyone experiences some type of trauma, large or small: developmental traumas, rejection, bullying, abuse, neglect, accidents, medical traumas, racial traumas, community violence. We can all benefit from using creative expression to understand ourselves and to heal and recover.
